Duga Uvala Cove – Čiovo

Duga Uvala on the island of Čiovo is a secluded beach – a cove next to the village of Okrug Gornji, isolated and ideal for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet. It stands out for its crystal-clear, turquoise-coloured sea. The beaches within the cove are varied, ranging from rocky to sandy and pebbly. There are no crowds or too many bathers in the cove. It is located in a secluded spot, which is why it is ideal for relaxation and tranquillity. Although the beach can be reached by land, many people come here by boat. Small yachts anchor in the shallows, and their owners enjoy the lovely, refreshing sea. Just a few hundred metres from the cove lie the islets of Sveta Fumija and Kraljevac. As for catering options in the cove, there is Konoba Duga, a restaurant with a beautiful view, excellent service and Mediterranean food, the restaurant Didovo oko, the café bar Labadusa, and the Laganini beach club. The sea is calm and clear, shallow near the beach and suitable for everyone. However, since the beach is isolated, only the more resourceful visitors tend to come here. If you intend to visit this beach, bring everything you might need with you. There are no shops nearby, nor any cafés or restaurants.
