The church of St Michael lies beside the path to the hamlet of Žlib-Baškovići, in the village of Veliko Brdo in the Makarska area. It is interesting as an example of a village church with a valuable altar and painting.
On the same spot stood an older Baroque church from the 17th century. In 1873 it was replaced by the present single-nave, vaulted building with a rectangular ground plan and a square apse. Above the entrance in the west façade are a round rosette and a plaque with an inscription about the building, and in the gable a two-part bell gable with a weathervane and one bell. In the church is a stone altar with a wooden antependium and a painting by Michele Ottoni depicting St Michael. On the painting are the years 1684 and 1884, when the altar was repaired.
The church is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4884.
