Church of St Nicholas, Tribunj

The Church of St Nicholas dominates the hill above Tribunj, a small town in Šibenik-Knin County. Visitors here find a setting with a view and a touch of history, because the old settlement of Jurjev Grad once stood next to the church.

The church was built in the 15th century as a single-nave building with a rectangular apse. The vault is pointed in the usual Gothic manner. Above the triumphal arch there used to be folk paintings depicting Tribunj. In addition to its historical and monumental value, the church has exceptional ambient value.

The Church of St Nicholas is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5368, in the category of sacred architectural heritage.
