The Ghirardini Palace is located in Zadar, in Don Ive Prodana Street, on the corner of the main city square. Visitors can stop by it for the Gothic-Renaissance balcony and the Romanesque doorway, remains of a once much larger building.
Today only one two-storey wing of the palace is preserved. On the southern façade is the original Romanesque entrance door with a lunette and a segmental arch. The floors are separated by a profiled cornice and have rows of rectangular windows of more recent date. The most significant part of the western façade is the Gothic-Renaissance balcony on the first floor, beneath which is a relief with angels carrying a garland, attributed to the workshop of Andrija Aleši. The palace dates from the period from the 13th to the 15th century.
The Ghirardini Palace is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-737. It is located in Zadar County.
