Church and Monastery of St Mary of Grace, Prvić Luka

The Church and Monastery of St Mary of Grace are located in the centre of Prvić Luka, right on the shore, in the municipality of Vodice in Šibenik-Knin County. The complex is of interest to visitors to the island because it combines sacred and residential purposes in one whole.

The monastery was rebuilt several times, and its present spatial concept mostly dates from the 16th century. The centre of the complex is the cloister with a wellhead in the middle, and around it are living spaces. On the southeastern side of the monastery is the church, which is part of the same complex. Its construction probably began at the time the monastery was built, in 1461, and it received its present dimensions in the first half of the 17th century. It is single-nave, with a deep rectangular apse.

The Church and Monastery of St Mary of Grace are a protected cultural good and are entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3192. They belong to sacred-secular architectural heritage and date from the period from the 15th to the 17th century.
