The Greblje stećci necropolis lies north of the village of Prović, on the slope of Orlovac hill, in the municipality of Slivno in Dubrovnik-Neretva County. In terms of the number of preserved stećci, it is among the largest necropolises of this type in the Neretva area.
The shape has been determined for 67 stećci: 36 are slabs, 29 are chests and two are gabled. It also stands out for the number of decorated examples, of which 33 have been recorded. The most common motifs are crosses, various combinations of shield and sword, crescents, stars and rosettes, and the usual borders. A special feature is a group with a depiction of a cross, a horse and a snake. Judging by the ornaments used, the necropolis shows pronounced links with the Herzegovina area, which is logical given the geographical and historical-cultural connection. It dates from the second half of the 14th century and the 15th century.
The necropolis is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4966 as archaeological heritage.
