In Zadar there is Puntamika beach. It is a pješčanoj plaži, right in the centre of the city, next to the Lanterna lighthouse. The beach has all the necessary infrastructure in place, from showers and changing cabins to raised lifeguard lookout posts. The sea is calm and shallow. The beach is suitable for enjoyment and playing in the shallows. If you are on the shore, while sunbathing you can observe the old part of the city and its bell towers. Next to the beach there are catering establishments, so if you want a refreshing drink or food, you have plenty to choose from. Nearby is the beach Rt Puntamika.
