Beach on Žirje Island

This beautiful rocky beach is located on the north-western side of the island of Žirje. A small cove creates a natural shelter, and a nearby tavern invites all visitors to a refreshing drink or a gourmet experience. The beach is more of a nautical type, but anyone who loves real nature and is not afraid to walk over rocks can easily reach the sea. The natural setting will enchant many. We should especially highlight the underwater world near the beach. Namely, the cove is rich in fish species, plant diversity, and some very interesting wrecks of aircraft from historic battles that were fought in this area.
