Zabočac Beach – Božava, Dugi Otok

The seemingly inaccessible Zabočac beach will provide a retreat for those who avoid crowds and want a somewhat more intimate space than is the case on most Croatian beaches. In fact, this rocky beach is easy to reach, and the beach itself is located near the village of Božava. From the beach you can see the Hotel Maxim very well, as well as the traffic through the small harbour in that village. The rocky layout of the beach requires its guests to move a little more carefully to and from the water. The gently sloping rocks are excellent for lying down and enjoying the daytime sun. If you need shade, simply duck into the nearby pine forest and enjoy the view of the open sea. Zabočac beach is not among the more popular beaches of the Adriatic, but it certainly has its own visitors. Who knows, if you come here once, this might become your favourite beach of our sea. The most famous beaches on the island are Veli žal and Sakarun.
