Near the islet of Gnalić, in the municipality of Pakoštane in Zadar County, lie the remains of an armed merchant ship from the 16th century. The site attracts divers and researchers because it preserves part of the real cargo of the era of the great trade routes.

The remains cover a wide area at a depth of 25 to 35 m. On the seabed parts of the cargo can be seen, especially window glass and bottles and glasses of Murano glass. Although the wreck has been partly explored, part of the cargo still lies under the sand, as do well-preserved remains of the ship's structure. That is why the site remains of interest to researchers.

The wreck is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-13.

Data: Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia (Ministry of Culture and Media), Open Licence; coordinates: DGU (centre of the settlement).
