Tuna Beach – Lokva Rogoznica

Right below the state road D8, in the village of Lokva Rogoznica, lies Tuna beach. It is partly a pebble beach, decorated with large rocks that break up the monotony. There are rocks both on the beach and in the shallow sea. Despite this, the beach is very accessible, easy to walk on and has a gentle descent into the sea. There are no large shallows on this beach, since after just two or three metres you can freely swim or dive. The sea is clean and warm, just enough to make swimming pleasant. Tuna beach is set apart from the inhabited area, and there are no catering establishments nearby. If you're heading there and want to spend the day, be sure to bring everything you might need with you. In part, tall pines grow above the beach, providing shade. In other spots it is sunny throughout the day and you'll need a sunshade, along with good protection from sunscreen. Nearby lies plaža Medići.
