Stari Porat Beach – Okrug Donji, Čiovo

Stari Porat is one of the better-known beaches on Čiovo. It is located in the village of Okrug Donji, next to the small local harbour. The pebbly seabed in the shallows creates vivid colours, just like those you see in the photographs. The beach itself is also pebbly, nicely landscaped, with natural shade. The shade is provided by pine branches, which also give the air a distinctive scent. Along the beach there are local cafés and bars, where you can sit down and enjoy the view. A little further away, sailboats are often seen on the horizon, completing the overall picture.
